A very large, green circle artwork. Breath-taking when hanging on the wall especially with the wooden circular frame. This would make a seriously impressive gift. The great thing about high quality reproduction prints is you can get a copy for yourself too!
The circle design represents the nature of our experience of time. I named it ‘When the symphony begins’ because I think every person’s life, whether they are disabled or not is its own symphony. My daughter’s symphony is unique to her with its own patterns and beauty.
‘When the Symphony begins’ was originally painted to contribute to a charity auction to help the McKenzie Centre, a special education facility that helps our middle child who has disabilities.
I use repetition and shading to create bold shapes and 3 dimensional images where simplicity and complexity merge just as they do in nature.
The Inanga Series is a distinct, varied and playful series of highly detailed artworks created using watercolour paint and indian ink.
