Where do you deliver?
I’ve tried to offer shipping all over the world, there are some places at the moment that NZ Post don’t deliver to and unfortunately I'm limited by that. But i can deliver to most places. Shipping and Tracking
I use NZ Post to ship all items domestically and internationally. I only track original painting deliveries. I’ve tried to keep postage costs as low as possible and this means for reproductions or small woodcuts, these are not tracked.
T-Shirts are usually shipped directly from Doodlewear in Auckland, New Zealand to your letterbox (this is the most cost effective and efficent model).
International taxes and duties
New Zealand’s national postal service ‘NZ Post’ handles my deliveries overseas. Any duties or taxes you might incur on an international delivery is your responsibility.
Your artwork will be custom wrapped depending on its size:
For small A4 & A3 sized artworks these are posted within an envelope, between cardboard cardboard for protection and lined.
For Postage tubes the artwork is lined with tissue paper, very carefully rolled and slid into the tube. I don’t secure it with tape because it travels better if it can expand to the inside edge of the roll.
For Framed artworks, these are tissue wrapped, then bubble wrapped and then have a 10cm allowance from the edge of the artwork to the exterior cardboard packaging to try to prevent damage. They are labelled with ‘fragile’ and ‘this way up’ stickers.
We include a little printout about the art and a certificate of authenticity for Giclee prints.
For T-Shirts, these are printed at Doodlewear in Auckland, New Zealand and usually I ask Libby from Doodlewear to ship them directly to you.
If your order includes T-Shirts and artwork or framing then I work out the most efficient and price sensitive option. I may send the T-Shirts separately direct from Doodlewear and the artwork from my studio. Another option is getting the T-Shirt delivered to my studio and repackaged up with the art. If your order is coming in two packages then I will email you to let you know.
Large Order Shipping Fees
There is a limit on how many shipping options I can offer in my web store. At the moment it can cater to a mix of different products, sizes and weights but only up to about two large framed artworks plus multiple smaller products included being shipped within the one order.
If you need a larger order than this, please contact me directly for a quote: firstname.lastname@example.org. If it's only a little larger you could also put it through in two separate purchases as another option.
I stand by the products I make and take care to package them in the best way I can to prevent damage. If you believe the quality of the product has failed in any way I want to hear from you as soon as possible and I will endeavor to help you.
Please contact me within 48 hours of receiving your order with your order number, and a brief description on the fault at email@example.com.
Initially I may ask you to first photograph the fault and send me images if this is a sufficient means to assess. From there I can work through whether the product needs to be posted back and arrange that. Any items returned as faulty will be assessed on receipt.
Once your faulty item has been assessed and confirmed I will arrange replacement stock (if possible) and get it out to you as soon as possible. If I don’t have replacement stock, I will offer you a refund or credit to the value of the item at time of purchase and any shipping costs incurred.
Anything deemed faulty subject to general wear and tear will not be accepted as faulty.
If you are returning an item to me, please make sure the parcel is well wrapped and secured. You are responsible for it until it reaches me.
