AFFORDABLE ORIGINAL PAINTINGS (MULTIPLES)

Process photo.jpg

I'm doing something incredibly fun with my art right now!

I've been inspired by a prolific American artist, Steve Keene (https://stevekeene.com/) who paints between 70-120 paintings a day.

Check out this YouTube video to give you an idea: YouTube video of Steve.

Embracing the process without being burdened by judgment or overthinking can lead to some wonderfully spontaneous and authentic pieces.

A great outcome of this style of art making is that because I'm painting multiple copies of the paintings at once, it means I'm able to keep the prices a lot lower than what you would pay in a fancy gallery, but you still can receive an original, hand made painting to enrich your home or gift to someone you love.

It just means there may be 2-6 copies of that one composition that were all painted at the same time - (multiples).

Here are the first ones I've made that are still available for sale:

I have some lovely friends, Jenna and Carl who own the amazing little cafe in Ohaupo, Top Deck Cafe, and they are letting me display my works there, why not pop over and check out the paintings in person over some home made crumpets and coffee! They're at 96 Great South Road, Ohaupo.

Sneak Peak Timelapse

QUICK TIP: If you're looking at this on your cell phone, flip it sideways for a bigger picture.

Take a sneak peak at my new series of paintings - check out this time lapse!

This painting is of Plimmer's Lane, only accessible on foot and home to the very old Plimmer's Oak, planted in the 1800s.

I love Wellington City, it's such a cool place to visit. My last time there I managed to walk everywhere on foot, or hire the odd electric scooter, no car required!

I'm slowly working away at this series. I have two paintings completed and a third I'm just finishing up. They're all circular oil paintings and are a window into the vibrant life and beautiful architecture of Wellington City.

If you want to hear when they become available, I will notify my subscribers and provide early access before releasing them publicly so make sure you subscribe if you don't want to miss out.

Eat, Sleep, Work, Repeat.

Another painting from this series of Wellington Life.

I'm just working on another project at the moment so I've just paused finishing the rest of this series. I will get to it but probably not until later this year.
